12 killed in boat tragedy

SHIMLA, APRIL 14.At least 12 persons were feared drowned in the Beas river at Harsipattan in Kangra district as a boat capsized this evening. According to police six bodies have been recovered and efforts were on to fish out more bodies from the deep water. The sources said there were about 40 persons aboard. Some of them managed to swim to safety.
