Seven Lashkar men killed
JAMMU, APRIL 18. Seven foreign mercenaries of the Lashkar-e-Taiba
were killed and two Army personnel injured in a gunbattle in
Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir today, a Defence spokesman
said here.
Acting on a tip-off, the troops cordoned off the Samba Tehsil
area this morning and asked the militants to surrender. But they
opened fire triggerring a fierce battle.
