New ambassador for Myanmar

NEW DELHI, APRIL 18. Mr. Vivek Katju, Joint Secretary in charge of the Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan desk in the Ministry of External Affairs has been appointed as India's ambassador to Myanmar.

He will succeed Mr. Shyam Saran, who has been appointed as the Indian ambassador to Indonesia.
