More forces deployed
GUWAHATI, MAY 4.More companies of security forces were deployed
in the sensitive areas in Assam in view of the May 10 polls.
``More forces have arrived and they have been deployed in the
sensitive areas,'' the Additional DGP, Mr. G. M. Srivastava said
here today.
``The militants are attempting to frustrate the election process
but nobody would be allowed to influence the voting pattern,''
Mr. Srivastava said.
