The author has faithfully described the life of Erwin Rommel starting from his cadet days till his death. The reader would obtain a very enthralling version of Rommel's character ability and genius at various battle-fields in Africa and Europe. The book conveys to the reader in a most sympathetic manner the great achievement of Rommel who had to conduct his campaign pitted against many odds.
