Midas Communications bags award
CHENNAI: Midas Communications, the Chennai based telephony and
internet network product development company, has been conferred
with the National Award for successful commercialisation of
indigenous technology by the technology development board,
Government of India. This award acknowledges the company's
successful commercialisation of corDECT, an advanced wireless
access system jointly developed by Midas and the Indian Institute
of Technology, Madras. This award was set up by the Technology
Development Board with a view to provide synergetic partnership
between industry and R & D, according to a company release.
