And now, Koteeswari
AFTER CROREPATI-patni, welcome to Tamil Nadu's own variant-
Koteeswari.
Make no mistake. This does not come from the Radaan stable or
Sarat Kumar who dishes out Koteeswaran unfailingly every weekend
on Sun TV. On the other hand, actress Kushboo, who a while ago
hinted that her foray into television would be a strong answer to
those dominating the scene, is now out to keep her promise.
It is show time for Kushboo now, as she takes on Koteeswaran with
`Koteeswari'. However, this time, she is not the producer, `merely
an actress appearing in the new game show'. The show, as per
latest buzz, is being directed by one Praveen Kumar, while the
anchor person is Kushboo. According to the actress, she agreed to
conduct the show even before the elections and offers this excuse
when asked if it was a political move.
The all women show will be making its appearance on Jaya TV soon,
though the actual launch date is yet to be fixed. Shooting on the
sequences has not commenced either, with anchor person off to
Singapore for the next 10 days. However, there are promises that
the team will get to work in right earnest when Kushboo returns
from her holiday in Singapore.
Meanwhile, Radaan TV, the producers of Koteeswaran scotch rumours
that the team has been asked to clear out from their sets at the
Film City. Sources say that shooting is going on as per
schedule, `` We have a lease with Film City for six months with
an optional clause of renewing it after this period. When we
don't have shoots, we pay waiting charges too. It makes
tremendous business sense to retain us''.
