PM satisfied
MANALI, MAY 30. The Prime Minister, Mr. A.B. Vajpayee, today said
he is satisfied with the response of the Pakistan Chief
Executive, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, to his invitation for talks. He
said the dates for the meeting would be decided soon.
``I am satisfied with his reply,'' Mr. Vajpayee told reporters
before returning to Delhi after a week-long sojourn here, a day
after Gen. Musharraf's acceptance letter was formally handed over
to New Delhi. On being asked whether he would send a response to
the General's letter, Mr. Vajpayee said, ``The time for
correspondence is over. Now the meeting will take place.''
