HCL Info in pact with Pitney Bowes

CHENNAI, JUNE 8. HCL Infosystems has tied up with Pitney Bowes of
the U. S for marketing document mailing systems. Mr. Jeffrey M.
Brennan, Director of Sales, Mailing Systems of Pitney Bowes told
presspersons here that the company had recently decided to focus
on document messaging technology business and brought forth
state-of-the-art customised solutions such as digital document
delivery, electronic bill presentation and payment.
Launching the mailing system products in Chennai, Mr. J. V.
Ramamurthy, President, Office Automation Division of HCL
Infosystems said the tie-up would enable the company to market
Pitney Bowes' complete range of mail handling and messaging
products. It had already marketed these products in New Delhi and
Mumbai and the response was favourable.
It is primarily looking into the market segments such as banks,
insurance companies, utility and service providers, government
organisations, financial organisations, hospitals, IT companies
and outsourcing agencies. The various models include three series
desktop inserting systems, five series tabletop inserting systems
and eight series inserting system, addressing systems (mono and
colour), folding machines and digital franking machines.
