Naxals kill 6 villagers

KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 15. The People's War Group of naxalites today shot dead six villagers in the forests of interior Vattimalla crossings, near Nimmanapalli village of Konaraopeta mandal of Andhra Pradesh. The naxalites waylaid an RTC bus going to Sirikonda from Sircilla and took away some villagers on the pretext of discussions with the dalam leaders. After beating them up in the forests, alleging them to responsible for covert police operations, they shot the villagers dead.

The incident has occurred a day before the Chief Minister, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu's scheduled visit to Warangal district.
