PM to be discharged on June 19

MUMBAI, JUNE 16. The Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, recovering after right knee joint replacement surgery at the Breach Candy Hospital, will be discharged on June 19, official sources said today. He will immediately leave for New Delhi.

Mr.Vajpayee has been responding well to physiotherapy sessions undertaken with assistance from a team of doctors. He has kept himself posted with world developments and cleared some official files.

The visitors to the Prime Minister today included the Union Minister, Ms. Maneka Gandhi.
