Four more shot dead by naxals
By Our Staff Reporter
MANALA (Nizamabad Dt), JUNE 16. Shock and grief gripped this
interior village of Kammarpalli mandal, 95 km from Nizamabad,
after the gruesome execution of four persons by the banned
People's War Group naxalites in Neral forest area on the
Nizamabad-Karimnagar border yesterday afternoon, branding them as
police informants.
The PWG naxals shot dead four persons from this village and
nearby hamlets, who were identified as Gajan, Gajanlal, Gurrapu
Shankar and Dashrath. Four others - Bhukya Faranga, Gugolath
Faranga, Limba and Komati Ramesh - had a miraculous escape after
the naxals let them off, not before giving them a sound
thrashing.
After learning about the deaths, the victims' families went to
Neral forest area and shifted the four bodies to the village.
