15 SULFA men gunned down
GUWAHATI, JUNE 21. ULFA militants gunned down 15 of their
surrendered comrades and injured four others in Dibrugarh
district today, official sources said. A group of eight militants
hurled hand-grenades and fired from AK-47 rifles at about 50
surrendered ULFA men (SULFA), when they were discussing a plan to
set up an NGO at Moran, killing 12 of them on the spot.
