Tendulkar, Harbhajan Nehra rested
HARARE, JUNE 21. Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan
Singh have been rested for the limited overs practice match
against Zimbabwe `A' here on Friday.
Tendulkar is nursing a ham-string strain. ``He will be fit for
India's first match,'' said manager Chetan Chauhan. India meets
Zimbabwe in its first match of the triangular series at the
Harare Sports Club on June 24.
Nehra is recovering from a stiff neck while Harbhajan has no
injury alarms.
The teams (from): India: Sourav Ganguly (Captain), V. V. S.
Laxman, Rahul Dravid, Hemang Badani, Dinesh Mongia, Virender
Sehwag, Sameer Dighe, Ajit Agarkar, Reetinder Singh Sodhi, Zaheer
Khan, Harvinder Singh and Debasis Mohanty.
Zimbabwe `A': Paul Strang (Captain), Gary Brent, Hamilton
Masacadza, Gavin Rennie, Barney Rogers, Titendo Taibu, Dirk
Viljoen, Craig Wishart, Stuart Mateukendra, David Mutendera and
Bryan Strang.
