Music competition
THE HARIKESANJALI Trust (www.saigan.com/harikesanjali), formed to
propagate the compositions of Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar,
conducted a music competition on June 17. The contestants of age
groups 13-17 and 18-25 had to sing only Muthiah Bhagavathar's
songs. The winners in the 13-17 age group are: First prize:
Subhiksha Rangarajan; Second: A. Rohith; Third: Bharathi
Ramasubban; Consolation prize: K. Vidya. No prizes were awarded
in the senior category. The prizes will be given away at the
Trust's fourth anniversary function on July 1, at 6 p.m. at the
Narada Gana Sabha.
