Revision in train timings, numbers from July 1

MYSORE, JUNE 29. The timings of various trains leaving Mysore for
Bangalore, Nanjangud, Hassan and Arsikere have been revised by
the Southern Railway, according to a release. The revised timings
will come into effect on July 1.
Mysore-Bangalore section: As per the new timings (the current
timings are given in brackets), the Mysore-Bangalore Tipu Express
will leave Mysore at 11 a.m. (instead of 11.20 a.m). The Mysore-
Chennai Kaveri Express will leave at 6 p.m. (6.05 p.m).
Train No. 229 Mysore-Bangalore Passenger will leave at 8 a.m.
(8.05 a.m.), while Train No. 223 (passenger) will leave at 6.30
p.m. (6.25 p.m.)
Nanjangud-Chamarajanagar section: The numbers of trains in the
Mysore-Nanjangud and Chamarajanagar sections have been changed,
the release said. The following are the revised train numbers and
timings.
Train No. 810, which has been renumbered 210, will leave Mysore
at 5.10 a.m. (5.15 a.m.). Train nos. 802, 812, 804, 806, 820, 808
and 816 have been changed to 202, 212, 204, 206, 220, 208 and
216, respectively. Train No. 202 (passenger) will leave Mysore at
7.35 a.m. (7.40 a.m.); No. 212 (passenger) at 9.20 a.m. (8.50
a.m.); No. 204 (passenger) at 11.30 a.m. (11.25 a.m.); No. 220
(passenger) at 4.30 p.m. (4.35 p.m.); No. 208 (passenger) at 6.15
p.m. (6.20 p.m.), and No. 216 (passenger) at 8.40 p.m. (8.25
p.m.). The timings of No. 206 (passenger) have not been changed,
and it will leave Mysore at 3.40 p.m. daily.
Chamarajanagar-Nanjangud and Mysore section: Train No. 809
(passenger) has been changed to No. 209, and it will leave
Nanjangud at 6.20 a.m. instead of 6.15 a.m. and arrive in Mysore
at 7.10 a.m. Train No. 201 will leave Chamarajanagar at 7.25 a.m.
(7.15 p.m.) and arrive at Mysore at 9.25 a.m. (9.10 a.m.). Train
No. 211 will leave Nanjangud for Mysore at 10 a.m. (10.20 a.m.),
and reach Mysore at 10.50 a.m. (11.10 a.m.).
The timings of passenger train nos. 203 and 205 have not been
changed. Train No. 203 will leave Chamarajanagar at 11.05 a.m.
and reach Mysore at 1.05 p.m. Train No. 205 will leave
Chamarajangar at 1.30 p.m. and reach Mysore at 3.20 p.m.
Train No. 219 (passenger) will leave Nanjangud at 5.55 p.m. (5.50
p.m.) and reach Mysore at 6.50 p.m. (6.45 p.m.). Train No. 215
(passenger) will leave Nanjangud at 9.30 p.m. (9.45 p.m.), and
reach Mysore at 10 p.m. (10.30 p.m.).
Mysore-Arsikere section: The authorities have renumbered train
nos. 862 and 866 to 262 and 266, respectively. While Train No.
262 (passenger) will leave Mysore at 7.55 a.m. (8 a.m.), Train
No. 266 (passenger) will leave Mysore at 6.05 p.m. (6 p.m.), the
release added.
