By Our Corporate Reporter
CHENNAI, JUNE 29. Asset International, the professional
technology training arm of Aptech, has tied up with Australian IT
Careers Institute (AITCI), a subsidiary of Powerlan (Australia's
largest publicly listed IT&T services company) to offer IT
education to students in India.
Addressing presspersons here today, Mr. Ravi Digghe, vice-
president, Asset International, said students would begin the
course in India with e-com@asset ver.2, the most comprehensive
advanced course in e-commerce designed to cover all the next
generation e-com technologies. After satisfactory completion of
this course in India and subject to completion of various
formalities, the students would continue their education in
Australia where AITCI would offer a diploma course in information
technology (software development). Mr. Harshad Chavan, business
development manager, AITCI, said the subjects would involve a
case study approach and the use of workplace based projects for
assessment allowing students to put the theory they have learned
into practical application.
