Official team sent to Chennai

NEW DELHI, JUNE 30. The Special Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Mukund Behari Kaushal, will lead a four-member team of officials to Chennai. The team was expected to reach the city late tonight by a special aircraft, a Home Ministry spokesman said.

The decision to send an official team of the Home Ministry was taken at the meeting of the NDA to independently find out about the incident and submit its report to the Centre.
