LTITL is now L&T Infotech

BANGALORE, JULY 1. L&T Information Technology (LTITL), a wholly- owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), has been renamed Larsen & Toubro Infotech Limited (L&T Infotech) in keeping with its global brand strategy and image.

The concept behind the new identity is to convey the company's vision for its global brand and draw strength from the parent organisation.

L&T Infotech provides software consulting and software services and solutions. Its offerings are focused on enabling enterprises to expeditiously avail of the benefits of integrated and online solutions in cutting edge as well as legacy areas. In the fourth year of its operations ended March 31, 2001. L&T Infotech has achieved a turnover of Rs. 251 crores as against Rs. 166 crores in the previous year.
