By K. Satyamurty
BANGALORE, JULY 4. Aithent Technologies, the U.S. based software
giant in insurance, health care and financial services software
designs founded by the Japanese educated technocrat, Mr N.Venu
Gopal, is all set to enter India in the field of higher end
software training including the latest in internet technology.
Mr. Venu Gopal who is presently in India holding consultations
with various authorities including the Union and the State
Governments told The Hindu here that the first of the training
institutions would located on the College Road, Nungambakkam in
Chennai. It would be followed up with the training centres cum
Aithent Technology offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and
Hyderabad.
The training centres would impart learning in embedded software
designing to qualified computer engineers. It would be a full-
fledged three month course in Unified Modelling Language (UML).
The UML graduates were in demand all over Japan and the U.S. On
completion of training, nearly 50 per cent of them would be
absorbed by Aithent Technologies for postings within the country
and abroad.
Mr. Venu Gopal said, with the setting up of a string of training
institutions by the company, at least 3,000 UML educated software
engineers would be available in the field every year. Embedded
software has been rated high as the future of the software
sector, more so, since it was widely used in home appliances,
telephones including the mobile telephones and motor vehicles, to
name a few. With only the Japanese certification commanding
respect across the world, Aithent Technologies would also be
awarding the successful candidates the Japanese certification.
Aithent has already entered into an agreement with the Japanese
companies in this connection.
