SBI Cards goes global

CHENNAI, JULY 5. SBI Cards has expanded its credit card range with the introduction of SBI International Card and the SBI Gold Card.

These cards are accepted around the world and offer an array of benefits including worldwide acceptance, global security features and innovative conveniences such as account access on the Internet anytime from any apart of the world and e-statements.

SBI cardholders can now access their accounts over the Internet 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any part of the world at their convenience and receive their card statements via e-mail, enabling them to keep track of their spends, card balance, payments and account status anytime from anywhere in the world.

SBI International Cards and SBI Gold Cards are accepted at over 20 million Visa outlets worldwide including one lakh outlets in India. Cardholders can also get 24-hour cash through over 6.50 lakh Visa ATMs spread across the globe as well as through SBI card cashpoints in SBI branches and National and International airports in India .

Cardholders who have misplaced their card or in an emergency can easily call the 24 hour SBI Card customer helpline or the Visa helpline in 73 countries to report the loss of their card and block it from being misused.

Other features of the card are lost baggage protection and free insurance protection offers complimentary personal accident insurance cover.
