Other States \| Previous Solar lighting in 1200 villages By Our Staff Correspondent JAIPUR, JULY 11. Over 1,200 villages across Rajasthan have so far been lit up with the installation of more than 29,000 solar home lighting systems under the rural electrification scheme executed by the Rajasthan Energy Development Agency (REDA). Mr. Pant said the solar lights had been installed during the last financial year in 164 villages in Barmer district, 102 in Jodhpur, 68 in Jaisalmer and 86 in Bikaner; and 322 villages in other districts of the State.
