Rs. 100 cr. for Orissa

NEW DELHI, JULY 18. The Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, has sanctioned Rs. 100 crores for flood relief in Orissa, the Crisis Management Group (CMG) was informed here today. Orissa had sought Rs. 200 crores.

A Central team will be in the State next week to assess the damage.

Chaired by the Cabinet Secretary, Mr. T. R. Prasad, the CMG met here today to review the situation.
