Insat launch delay likely
BANGALORE, JULY 19. The launch of India's Insat-3C, scheduled
between September 10 and 15, may be delayed after the French
agency, Arianespace, suffered a rare setback last week when its
`flight 142,' which took off from the Kourou
Spaceport, ended up in a ``lower than expected orbit,'' the
Indian Space Research Organisation sources said today.
``Arianespace is currently analysing the data. There could be
some delay (in the launch of Insat-3C). We have not heard from
them. We are waiting for word from them,'' the sources told PTI
here.
