NSS camp at Reddiarpalayam

PONDICHERRY, JULY 19. Volunteers of the National Service Scheme
in the Bharathidasan Government College for Women took up garbage
collection work at Pudu Nagar, Reddiarpalayam main road, Kaveri
Nagar, Ajeez Nagar and a few other colonies.
The students, who were participating in a camp at Reddiarpalayam,
also addressed special meetings aimed at creating an awareness
among the people of savings, eye donation and the norms of small
families.
Mr. A. M. Krishnamoorthy, representing Reddiarpalayam in the
Pondicherry Assembly, Dr. S. Kumudha, principal and NSS officers
explained the purpose of the camp that would end on July 25.
