Epic tale of patriotism, passion
``PEARL HARBOUR'', the latest offering from Touchstone Pictures
is about the life-changing events that occurred on December 7,
1941, and the war's devastating impact on two daring young pilots
(Ben Afflick and Joah Hartnett) and a beautiful, dedicated nurse
(Kate Beckinsale).
The infamous day that jolted America and altered the course of
world history is relived in this epic tale of patriotism, passion
and romance.
On a sleepy Sunday morning in December, as children played and
families prayed, squadrons of Japanese warplanes screamed across
the skies of a Hawaiian paradise and launched a surprise attack
on the U. S. Armed Forces at Pearl Harbour.
A tale of catastrophic defeat, heroic victory, personal courage
and incredible love set against a stunning backdrop of
spectacular wartime action, the film vividly captures all the
fleeting emotions that overwhelm the peaceful Hawaiian town.
The credits: producer - Jerry Bruckheimer, producer/director -
Michael Bay, screenwriter - Randall Wallace, executive producers
- Mike Stenson, Barry Waldman, Randall Wallace, Chad Oman and
Bruce Hendricks.
The cast includes Ben Afflick, Josh Hartnett, Kate Beckinsale,
William Lee Scott, Greg Zola, Ewen Bremner, Alec Baldwin, Cuba
Gooding Jr, Dan Aykroyd, James King, Mako, John Fujioka and Cary-
Hiroyuki Tagawa.
The film is due for release in India next month.
