Annual celebration
THE SRI Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer Golden Jubilee Trust will hold
its 25th annual celebrations and the celebration of the veteran
musician's 94th birthday between July 25 and 29 at the Ragasudha
Hall, Mylapore. Mr. N. R. Chandran, Advocate General, Tamil Nadu,
will inaugurate and Vairamangalam Lakshminarayanan will preside
over the function on July 25.
Spread over the five days are recitals by T. M. Krishna, Sikkil
Gurucharan, S. Sowmya, Rama Sankaranarayanan, Nisha Rajagopalan,
Anayampatti Ganesan, C. R. Vaidhyanathan, A. S. Murali, G. K.
Sivaraman M. Chandrasekaran andG. Bharathi (violin duet).
