Prabhakar's remand extended
DEHRA DUN, JULY 22. A Bhawali court has extended judicial remand
of the former cricketer, Mr. Manoj Prabhakar, till August 3 in
the chit fund case, police said here today.
The judicial magistrate, Mr. Devraj Prasad, issued orders to this
effect after visiting the private nursing home in Haldwani, where
Mr. Prabhakar is admitted, to enquire about his condition last
evening, the Assistant Director General of Police, Mr. Anil
Raturi, told PTI here.
Mr. Prabhakar was admitted to the hospital on July 3 following
suspected brain stroke.
Doctors attending on him have stated his condition to be stable.
