Stock brokers' strike today
By Our Special Correspondent
BANGALORE, JULY 22. Stock Brokers of the Bangalore Stock Exchange
will refrain from trading on Monday as part of a nationwide
protest called by the newly-formed Securities Industries
Association of India, which consists of 14 regional stock
exchanges.
The association, which includes members of the Association of NSE
members and the BSE Brokers' Forum, has been formed to provide a
think-tank to the regulatory authorities, to represent the
problems in capital markets and the voice of stock brokers.
