Ramadorai to head Tata Technologies

MUMBAI, JULY 25. Mr. S. Ramadorai, CEO of Tata Consultancy
Services (TCS), has been appointed chairman of Tata Technologies
(TTL) by the TTL board of directors.
Mr. Ramadorai said, ``I am proud to be associated with Tata
Technologies which is a young company with a strong domain
expertise in the automobile and aerospace industries and is a
tier-one supplier to an increasing number of Fortune 500
companies. It is now poised to become a global leader in the
field of manufacturing IT. Our vision is to be the partner of
choice for those industry leaders who view the strategic use of
information technology as critical to their success.''
TTL serves its customers through global industry practices in the
manufacturing and engineering sectors. The practices are
engineering automation, knowledge based engineering (KBE),
enterprise resource planning (ERP), advanced planning and
scheduling (APS) and eBusiness. TTL is in the process of building
a global development hub at Pune spread over 9.5 acres in the
Pune Information Technology Park.
