India, U.S. hold talks

NEW DELHI, AUG. 2. India and the United States today held wide- ranging discussions on issues of cooperation in multilateral fora which included counter-terrorism and UN peace-keeping.

The U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Global Affairs, Mr. Lorne Craner, on a day-long visit, met his Indian counterpart in the External Affairs Ministry and exchanged views on multilateral issues, a Foreign Office spokesperson told reporters.
