Chiranjeev fails to make cut
NEW DELHI, AUG. 4. Chiranjeev Milkha Singh stumbled out of The
International, failing to make the cut in his maiden appearance
in an USPGA Tour event at the Castle Pines Golf Club in Colorado,
Denver, on Friday.
Chiranjeev, who had to stop after 12 holes on Thursday, completed
his first round with four-over 76. He bettered his performance in
the second, carding 71, but it was not enough to break the
barrier and make the cut.
Tom Prince Jr of the US jump-started by an eagle and scored 12
points for the second straight day to take two-point lead from
Stewart Cink (22), after 36 holes.
Chris Riley was next with 21 points under the modified Stableford
system. Briton Ed Fryatt, Chris DiMarco, Brent Geiberger and Tim
Herron were all at 20.
