Coast to feast
PURE COASTAL fare from the west in the Deccan? That's what the
Jewel Nizam at Hotel Golkonda is offering these days. The
`Coastal Fiesta' promises to take you on a gastronomic journey.
The festival features the finest array of mouth-watering
specialities from the west coast. Sea food lovers can have a
feast what with several varieties of dishes on the offer. The
Goan fish curry, fish molee, fish rachedo, Konkani special prawn
curry, Malabar prawn curry, crab curry, chicken xacuti... ooh
can't resist?
Wait. Vegetarian connoisseurs need not feel left out since they
too have quite a range to choose from. Munchi badani ghasi,
karkumbuda puli koddel, avial, vendakka, ularthu, raw banana
curry, sornalli dosa, and drumstick dry curry... the list goes
on.
The names may sound strange but the taste buds will have more
than their fill. What more. There are some delectable desserts
too. The buffet is priced at Rs. 199 for an adult (which includes
a mug of beer) and Rs. 149 for a child. The festival is on till
August 12.
