Bayer arm buys out Bayer Sanmar

MUMBAI, AUG. 7. Bayer Industries Private Ltd. (a 100 per cent subsidiary of Bayer AG, Germany), has increased its stake in Bayer Sanmar from 51 per cent to 100 per cent.

Bayer Sanmar manufactures and markets thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) used in a wide variety of industries and is headquartered in Chennai. It is a joint venture of Bayer and the Chennai-based Sanmar group.
