Probe into Bihar police firing

PATNA, AUG. 7. The State Government today ordered an administrative enquiry into yesterday's police firing at Aurai police station of Muzaffarpur district in which at least three flood victims protesting poor relief measures were killed.

Pending action on the basis of the report, the Government has placed under suspension the ASI who ordered the firing on those who had gheraoed the police station.
