Holistic metamorphosis
THERE IS a silence in the room full of people - say about 20 of
them. The silence is comforting and peaceful - the master intones
the instructions to a world of visualisation where all is divided
into positive and negative elements. The thought process takes
each one into a realm where you deal with it and throw out all
that has probably caused discomfort in the first place - a
process quite simply called the dispensing of the karmic seed
which has been attacking the body at various levels through
ailments rooted in deeps seated emotional patterns of
occurrences.
In a world full of dissent and imponderables, it is left to
people such as Tatwamasi Dixit to try and guide people towards
holistic health and well-being. Of course there are many
techniques and methods that have surfaced in the last few years
where ancient practices are being reinvented to suit the modern
individual - to cope with the stress and ailments of a fast
developing world. But each one is unique in its ability to
provide relief to believers who swear by their own positive
experiences. But obviously there is much more to heal - there are
too many people unable to deal with problems self-induced or
otherwise.
Kayakalpa or metamorphosis, the holistic center set up by
Tatwamasi Dixit applies ancient Vedic principles to modern
management, especially in the area of health. He says the basic
idea is to harness three energy forms of iccha, (intension),
gnana (knowledge) and kriya (action) to achieve material, health
and spiritual success. According to him, in everything that we
do, the first step is sowing the creative seed of will. Then
comes energising it through the power of wisdom leading to the
final step in actually doing things that need to be done.
While this is something he advocates for those in business and
enterprise and professional in the field of health, where there
has been many successful cases according to him, his holistic
approach involves integrating ayurveda, yoga, energy healing,
creative visualisation, to get rid of chronic ailments such as
diabetes, heart ailments, blood pressure, asthma, arthiristis,
cholesterol etc. Not just healing, these methods will help in
remaining fit, healthy and disease-free, he says. He also designs
a diet kit to enhance the emotional intelligence opening up to
spirituality. This works on the premise that the body has a
natural self-healing process by which it can keep healthy most of
the times. During sickness the individual can play a part in
helping the body cure itself.
Other than the fact that this has been supported by research and
study, Dixit believes that ancient Indian methods were designed
for a complete workable system of maintaining good health. A diet
that is healthy, free of toxins, an everyday routine of yoga and
pranayama, restraining from activities that deter the healing
process can lead to a truly wholesome individual.
He says diagnosis is done at the level it has hit the body - in
other words tackle the problem at the root cause and parallely do
an ayurvedic analysis of the 'vata pita kapha', an imbalance of
which leads to ailments and diseases. Combine this with yogic
practices - therapeutic pranayama, meditation, creative
visualisation, talking to the affected organs and mantra
chanting. All these effectively helps in curing chronic ailments,
he says.
Tatwamasi Dixit was conferred the title 'Vedic pundit' at the age
of 17 by the Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Academy and has been
practising and teaching Vedic sciences for more than 20 years.
Born in Varanasi, he graduated from the Benares Hindu University
and has done an in-depth study in the field of human resources
development.
He conducts workshops where he has integrated Vedic principles to
modern management system, but his special area is healing, where
he has worked in the field of energy science. He learnt the art
of psychotherapy and different forms of healing in Europe and the
Philippines and tries to use modern scientific methods along with
Vedic science for healing therapy.
To get your mind, body and soul together a visit to the center
could be fruitful. Regular workshops on health are conducted
where those who believe in alternate and holistic systems can
benefit.
Located at Judge Jambulingam Road, Tatwamasi Dixit can be
contacted at 8552655 or through oorjacon@vsnl.com,
ivsl@satyam.net.in. In addition, he will soon host a site through
which consultations and questions will be answered.
The site (www.mypandit.com) will provide insights into all the
activities and offer practical advise on various health issues.
