'Central team report in a week'

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, AUG. 9. The Central team which studied the drought situation in the State will submit its report to the Union Government with recommendations in a week.

An indication to this effect was given by the team leader and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. K.D. Sinha, to the Commissioner for Relief and Rehabilitation, Mr. D.C. Rosaiah, after a meeting at the Lakeview guest house shortly before the team left for Delhi this evening.

Mr. Rosaiah later said the State Government was fully satisfied that the team could see for itself the extent of loss caused to the crops, the shortage of drinking water and fodder and migration of agriculture labour.
