Why prioritise DPI opposition, asks PT
By Our Special Correspondent
CHENNAI, AUG. 9. The Puthiya Tamizhagam president, Dr. K.
Krishnasamy, today said the PMK was portrayed as an anti-Dalit
party because it prioritised opposition to the Dalit Panthers of
India.
Reacting to the statement by the PMK founder, Dr. S. Ramadoss,
that he was not anti-Dalit, the PT leader said the PMK should not
associate with those identified as anti-Dalit.
Denying that he had attacked Dr. Ramadoss personally for
switching alliances, Mr. Krishnasamy said he had only made a
suggestion that such switchover would set a wrong precedent.
