Other States \| Previous Tribal couple shot dead by ultras AGARTALA, AUG. 9. A tribal couple was shot dead by NLFT insurgents at trouble-torn Jampaijala in West Tripura district where they also had killed a Cpi-M leader on Wednesday. The police said that a group of NLFT insurgents stormed the house of one Mr. Shymal Debbarma, a CPI-M activist, on wednesday and fired indiscriminately killing him on the spot and seriously injuring his wife, who later succumbed to her injuries. A search has been launched in the area to nab the insurgents, the police said. The NLFT ultras had shot dead Mr. Udai Debbarma, chairperson of a block development committee and a CPI-M leader of Jampaijala, near the block office.
