Prasad scores stunning win

KOLKATA, AUG. 10. Indian International Master D.V. Prasad pulled off a stunning 41-move victory against Indonesian Grandmaster Utut Adianto in the second round of the 3rd Asian individual chess championship at the Gorky Sadan here on Friday.

At the end of the second round, five players - top seed GM Xu Jun of China, International Master Mark Paragua of the Philippines, Indian GM Pravin Thipsay, Iranian IM Ehsan Ghaem Maghami and Chinese IM Li Wenliang lead the field with two points each.
