India not to play at 'The Wanderers'

MUMBAI, AUG. 10. India will not play a Test a match at `The Wanderers' in Johannesburg during its two-month tour of South Africa in October-November.

The three Tests will be played at Bloemfontein (Nov. 3 -7), Port Elizabeth (Nov. 16-20) and Centurion Park, Pretoria (Nov. 24-28). The three Test series will be preceded by a tri- series in which the third team will be Kenya.

The Indians will play just two three-day games, one each before and after the first Test. The Indians will open the tour with a one-day match against Nicky Oppenheimer XI in Randjedfontein.

South Africa v Kenya (2nd ODI, day), Benoni, Oct. 10. India v South Africa (3rd ODI, d/n), Centurion Park, Oct. 12. India v Kenya (4th ODI, d/n), Bloemfontein, Oct. 14.

South Africa v Kenya (5th ODI, day), Kimberley, Oct. 17. India v Kenya (6th ODI, d/n) Port Elizabeth, Oct. 19. South Africa v India (7th ODI, d/n), East London, Oct. 22. South Africa v Kenya (8th ODI, d/n) Cape Town, Oct. 24. India v Kenya (9th ODI, d/n) Paarl, Oct. 27. (Final,day) Durban,, Oct. 28 (reserve day).

Oct. 27-31: India v President's XI (Kimberley), Nov. 3-7 (Ist Test), Bloemfontein, Nov. 10-13: India v South Africa `A', East London, Nov. 16-20 (2nd Test), Port Elizabeth, Nov. 24- 28 (3rd Test) Centurion Park.
