Call to popularise rainwater harvesting

CHENNAI, AUG. 12. The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) Board and Metrowater have been asked to popularise the concept of rainwater harvesting (RWH) through mobile propaganda vans.

This will be on the lines of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB)'s concept of highlighting alternatives to plastic, sources said.
