Need to stamp out terrorism stressed

HYDERABAD, AUG. 12. Social discrimination, unemployment, lack of
social security and hostile nature of some countries were the
main causes for the rise of terrorism all over the world with the
increased terrorist activity posing a threat to world peace, said
the Labour Minister, Mr. C. Krishna Yadav, on Sunday.
In his speech delivered at the World Students and Youth Festival
being held in Algiers, Algeria, the Minister said every country
desires peace and there was a need to seriously ponder over the
issue of terrorism.
Boundary disputes among nations was another fertile area for
terrorism to raise its ugly head, he pointed out and stressed on
the need for speedy progress in the negotiations among nations.
