By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE, AUG. 13. The City police have made certain traffic arrangements near the Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground in view of the Independence Day Ceremonial Parade at 9 a.m. on August 15.

The ministers, secretaries to Government, military and police officers, freedom fighters and other important personalities, who are given white car passes, should use gate No. 2 on Cubbon Road in front of the Military Supply Depot and park their vehicles on the northern side of the parking lot on the parade ground.

Those with red car passes should come to Cubbon Road and enter the western side of the parking lot on the ground from gate No. 1, and green car-pass holders should park their vehicles on the parking lot on Kamaraj Road and Main Guard Cross Road, before entering the ground.

The vehicles carrying parade participants should enter the ground through gate no. 3. These vehicles should be parked behind the Fort Wall on the ground. The vehicles of police, PWD and other departments and the BMP should enter the ground from gate no. 3 and park behind the contingent vehicles.

Those coming in two-wheelers could park their vehicles on Kamaraj Road and enter the ground from gate no. 3 on that road. Those without car passes may park their vehicles on the parking lot on this road and enter the ground through gate no. 3. The parking lots on M.G. Road may also be utilised.
