By Our Corporate Reporter
CHENNAI, AUG. 13. Allsec Technologies, a multimedia, integrated,
outsourced contact centre handling response management to
international customers, through any media on a 7x24 basis, plans
to have strong footing in its business by tapping more clients
and increasing the number of seats to 2,000 by the end of 2002.
The company has tied up with Ford Motor Company of the U. S. to
support their operations worldwide.
Immediately, the company would be enhancing the seats to 500 from
the present 150 at a cost of Rs. 25 crores. This would be funded
by increasing the equity and getting assistance from IDBI. At

about 85 per cent stake in equity and the balance 15 per cent is
held by the IDBI. Mr. A. Saravanan, founder and president along
with Mr. R. Jagadish, Director and CEO promoted the company and
the contact centre was set up in the first quarter of last year.
Allsec is at present operating for the clients in U. S. It plans
to expand its activities to U. K and in the Asia-Pacific region.
Through the present operations, it is expecting a revenue of
about $2 million in the first year. Its centre has IVR and
voicemail capabilities. The network is done by Lucent certified
