PM ready for talks

NEW DELHI, AUG. 14. The Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee,
today reiterated India's readiness to continue direct talks with
Pakistan.
In a message to President, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, on the occasion
of Pakistan's Independence Day, Mr. Vajpayee said the Agra summit
had led to the resumption of the ``dialogue process'' adding he
looked forward to ``continuing the bilateral interaction''.
