Judges given warm send-off

BANGALORE, AUG. 14. The Chief Justice, Mr. P.V. Reddi, and Mr.
Justice Ashok Bhan were given a warm send-off at a special
sitting of the High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday. Both have been
elevated as judges of the Supreme Court.
In his farewell address, the Chairman of the Karnataka State Bar
Council, Mr. Jayakumar S. Patil, recalled the services rendered
by the two judges during their tenure in the High Court.
In their reply, the two thanked their brother judges, the
advocates and the court staff for the co-operation extended to
them in the discharge of their duties.
