Polytechnic students plan dharna

HYDERABAD, AUG. 14. The All India Democratic Students Association
and the Polytechnic C-90 Scheme Students Association will take
out a rally on August 20 in the city demanding the State
Government to revoke cancellation of examinations of the C-90
Scheme students and hold the same at the earliest.
Members of the two associations jointly staged a dharna here on
Tuesday opposing the cancellation of examinations of C-90 Scheme
students, according to a press release.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to Mr. Rajiv Sharma,
Commissioner, Technical Education, urging the Government to
conduct the examinations for the students. Mr. Rajiv Sharma
assured that he would forward their appeal to the Government to
allow them write the examinations, the press release said.
