15 run over by train
By Our Special Correspondent
MUMBAI, AUG. 16. A speeding train mowed down 15 persons,
including eight women and five children, on the Mumbai-Bhusaval
section of the Central Railway today. Two children were injured.
The victims could not see the fast approaching Mumbai- bound
Geetanjali Express because of poor visibility due to a heavily
overcast sky. The mishap occurred at the village Ujani between
Bodhwad and Achaigaon stations.
The victims had come from Akola in Vidarbha to visit a Dargah in
the area.
