A string of lies...
THE MGR Film City is teeming with people. On one side shooting is
on for a Telugu film and on the other Prabhu is in the middle of
a song sequence with director K. Subash calling the shots for Sri
Sudha Lakshmi Pictures's ``Aayirum Poi Solli''. A thousand lies
can be uttered to perform a marriage, the saying goes. In this
film, the hero crosses the limit to avoid marriage. The hero asks
an astrologer to predict his future and is told that he would
marry twice. The first wife would die during child birth. An
aghast hero decides not to marry but is forced to take the
plunge. What is more, the wife (Ramya Krishnan) becomes pregnant.
``The climax is very gripping,'' says the director. Prabhu says,
``This character is full of energy, and comedy is the lifeline of
the film. In the song sequence which is being picturised now I am
wondering about the fate of the girl. I am sure that this film
will be accepted by the masses.''
Director K. Subash, who has also written the screenplay, is
happy that the major portion of the film is over. ``I intend to
shoot two songs in Switzerland. We have planned an August release
and I am working on a tight schedule.'' The main cast, besides
Prabhu and Ramya Krishnan, comprises M. N. Nambiar, Delhi Ganesh,
Ramesh Kanna, Anumohan, `Thalai Vaasal' Vijay and Fathima Babu.
Music director Deva's brothers, Sabesh and Murali, make their
debut as composers. The story is by R. Chandrasekar. Varunan has
written the dialogue. Stunt work has been taken care of by
`Vikram' Dharma. The camera is handled by Ilavarasu and editing
is done by Krishnamurthy Siva. Art is by Nagu.
